BroadWeb Appoints Gary Wang As New Chairman.

Dec. 18, 2009 – BroadWeb Corp., a leading provider of network-based Intrusion Prevention Systems, announced the appointment of Gary Wang as Chairman. Gary Wang has worked in the Networking industry for over 20 years. He was the president of APR Operations of 3Com Corporation (Nasdaq: COMS) where he held many executive positions in manufacturing, engineering, and operations. In his 3Com president role, he was responsible for the successful 3Com/Huawei joint venture. In 1993, he created the Mobile Division (MPD), a fastest growing 3Com business division focused on mobile communication solutions. From 2000 to 2002, he created the Personal System Business (PSB) division and served as vice president and general manager. He holds a masters degree in electrical engineering from Arizona State University and a bachelor degree in telecommunication engineering from Chiao-Tung University, Taiwan. He is also an alumnus of Stanford University through the executive program of Graduate School of Business.

Aside from being Chairman of BroadWeb, Gary is also currently the Co-founder and CEO of CareMax Capital, an investment company that focuses on the innovations and business opportunities of combining the IT and bio-tech technologies.
