BroadWeb BSST Assists Enterprises barring Employees from accessing YouTube Video Sharing Website
YouTube is a popular free video sharing Web site that lets users upload, view, and share video clips. Founded in February 2005, the website is based on services that utilize Adobe Flash technology to display video. The wide variety of site content includes movie and TV clips and music videos, as well as amateur content such as videoblogging. In October 2006, Google, Inc. announced that it had reached a deal to acquire the company for $1.65 billion USD in Google's stock, which is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2006.

Playing video clips online will consume some extends of the bandwidth of the corporate network and such behavior will greatly reduce the employees’ productivity if viewed during the office hours.
